Dave Kobliska

Dave Kobliska | Instructional Designer

Greetings!

I am an educational professional with over 30 years’ experience engaging all kinds of learners in their personal growth and development journey. I've been particularly effective introducing both young and adult audiences to computer science and nurturing their confidence as digital citizens. It has been highly rewarding to see several of my students choose college majors in CS and go on to successful careers in software development and IT.

Over the past decade, I've served as IT Director and Instructor at a private high school where I introduced computer science as an academic discipline while coaching fellow teachers on effective use of classroom technology. I actively researched the industry and have a proven ability to quickly master new tools and guide their adoption process on individual and organizational levels. My experience maintaining and supporting a full campus network helps me understand the full stack of digital resources that must work together for technology to truly promote learning.

With my recent master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology, I hope to better leverage my strong creative and organizational skills to deliver polished, effective training experiences that facilitate active, self-directed learning. I also hope to grow my experience working with subject matter experts and applying the Instructional Design process while interacting with a knowledgeable, passionate team I can both learn from and support.

Thank you so much for considering me for your instructional design needs.

Best,
David Kobliska
